Taipei 101

This week I always busy because I needed prepare my presentation and it needed take a long time. My topic was about Taipei 101. Why I wanted introduce Taipei 101? Because I wanted everybody and knew what is Taipei 101. Why? Because It is my country and it is the second the tallest building in the world but not too many people know it is so I wanted write some about Taipei 101 for everyone.

Why we call “Taipei 101”?
The name of the building reflects its location in Taipei's 101 business district along with its floor count so Taiwanese economies are beside Taipei 101 or inside. For example, we have international world trade center, shopping mall, hotel and Taipei government and it is beside Taipei 101 building. And we have many bank and international companies inside at Taipei 101. The number is pronounced in English simply as One Oh One so we don’t say 1 hundred 1 stair. Also, the original name planned for the building, Taipei World Financial Center.

However, the Taipei 101 have shopping mall, restaurant, Observatories and office so we can do many things in there. I hope everyone can go to there.

Edmonton

We went to Edmonton this Saturday and 1 night two days. I booked a hotel at downtown and it was four people room. First day, we drove a car about three hours to Edmonton and we went to West Edmonton mall and planned a big shopping so we were crazy about it. It was really big mall in the world and I never saw the biggest than the West Edmonton mall.

Then, we ate a lunch in the shopping mall. I ate a Japanese food and it was delicious and not too expensive. After, we started our shopping. Also we had a shopping list. For example, Guess, A&F, A&E, Grace, Nine west, Miss sixty, Bebe sport, BCBG…etc. We had so many things want to buy. But I didn’t buy too many things because I am going to Seattle and Portland and crazy shopping again. I think American is cheaper than Canadian because it is so many brand from American and we don’t need pay the tax in Portland.

Next, we went to the shooting range but I didn’t play because the voice was too loud I didn’t like so I saw my friends play it and I took many pictures. In the night, we danced and drank at the pub. It was really fun and Edmonton’s pub was better and bigger than Calgary’s pub. There were many shows and people. I hope I can go to there again. Second day, we went to the mall again and T&T supermarket we bought a lot of food and spent a long time and came back Calgary.

Fort Mcmurray

I went to Fort Mcmurray this week and it was experience and took long time.We took a bus about 12 hours for one way so we needed spend 24 hours on this trip. It was boring because it was long time in the bus and nothing to do.
When we came to the hotel it was late and tried. We took a bus and found some dark places

to saw the northern lights but we didn't see the northern lights first day and It's was cold and snow. The hotel was terrible and unfriendly because we asked the some information they always said we didn't know. For example, we asked, do you know where can saw northern lights? Do you know where are almost people going to see the northern lights? They said we didn't know but the hotel has called “northern lights hotel" why they don't know? We were angry.

The second day the weather was good and wasn't snow. We waited the night and went to the dark place again but we didn't see and very sad because if we couldn't see the northern lights we will come back Calgary. Finally, we gave up because it was too cold.

Next day, we came back Calgary but we saw the northern lights in the bus. It wasn't too beautiful because the northern light wasn't too strong. I hope I have next time and go to Fort Mcmurray again.

Busy all the week!!

We had a long weekend on this week. Every day was busy all the week. On Monday, I had a presentation in the L&S class. I needed choose one song and taught my classmates. I chose the pussycat dolls' "stick with you". It is nice song I'm very like it. On Tuesday, we went to the gym when we finished we ate some snack at downtown bar.


On Wednesday, we went to the bar and had a meeting. We want to go to the Fortmcn. The Formcn can see the polar light. This trip will spend much money, so we need discuss the trip. We want to prepar very good and choose many ways what can we do the best. After meeting, we decided that go to there by bus. However we need booking the hotel and the trip date is from Nov 16 to Nove19. The bought is 300 dollars. Also, we ate many chicken wing and drank 7up.


On Thursday, we went to the TD mall and bought some clothes. Also, I bought my favorite popcorn. Next day, we went to my friend's home and cooked a hot pot, so I slept over my friend's home. Next day, I went to the school Library and studied English.

On Saturday, My home had a BBQ party. We ate lots of food, steaks, pastas, fruits, cakes, shrimps and some drinks. We had a good day. Next day, I went to the movie theater with my friend. We went to the bar and ate chicken wing before saw the movie. Also I drank the candy apple at the bar.

Halloween^^

I happened many things on this week. We went to the gym after school from Monday to Friday. On Wednesday, It was Halloween holiday. We ate a hot pot and waited some children of came to my home. We were excited when the children came to my home and got them some candy. Next, I went to many houses and went trick or treating with my friend's child. It was very fun and I got many candy on Halloween. It was really good experience in my life because I never celebrate Halloween in my country.


On Friday, we had a dance class at the school. It was very funny, because we couldn't remember too much about the dance step. But the inductor was patience and gave us a good direction. The inductor said" we can go to his house with someone and he will teach us more." He was a enthusiastic teacher. The next week, the activity is a bowling I will excited.

On Saturday, I went to my friend's home and cooked the lunch. Then, we went to the TD mall and bought something. After mall, we ate dinner at a downtown restaurant. The food was very delicious and cheap. We ordered lots of food and ate the food together. Finally, we sang the karaoke at superstar and went home very late.

New Blog In Our Class

I was slept in On Monday, because I did my assignment very late on last night. So I lost my grammar class, but I borrowed the book of correct my homework.

However, the W&R class had a big assignment and I think it will be very difficult. We need to choose one book and read it . I'm not sure what we need do. Maybe in a few day, I'll know what can I do.

I made a blog in our class, so I want to write something every week. I had a conversation show in level 4 class. It was very good and everybody was well down on wednesday.

We need brought some food on Thursday, because we had a potluck party in our class. After school , I went to Chinese supermarket and bought something. I bought chicken, small cakes and fruit. Then, I ate a Tiramisu cake at restaurant, it was delicious and cheap. Last, I went to Halloween store and looked some cloths for the party. But I dislike any cloths in the store.

On Thursday, I was surprised, because everyone brought many food in our class. We had different country food. For example, Korea, Taiwanese, Japanese, Mexico, Canadian...etc.
It was delicious, everyone was so full and happy. We had a wonderful day in this day.

The Halloween party was a litte boring, but everyone looked very good of make up. I just ate something and went to my home so early. I hope everyone was happy in the party.
